Rochester families can make every trip to town an adventure with the return of the Christmas Podcast Scavenger Hunt, Rudolph Has Lost His Friends.

The hunt was created by the Rochester Business Network in collaboration with Storytowns Audio Guides.

Participants will use the six audio clues to track down the missing reindeer stationed throughout local businesses.

Once scavenger hunters locate Rudolph’s friends, they can snap a photo of the business and the reindeer to help fill out their digital game card.

The immersive experience will not only be fun for the family but will also encourage local shopping and support of the wider community.

There will also be prizes up for grabs for those who solve the clues first.

Storytowns founder Jarrod Pickford said the hunt was popular among families.

“The Christmas Hunt is really popular,” he said.

“All the feedback we get from kids and families is really positive.

“Plus, it’s free, fun and a great way for families to explore Rochester.”

The scavenger hunt is free. More information can be found at storytowns.com.au/xmasrochester/
