Applications for Country Education Foundation (CEF) scholarships are now open.
Scholarships are for students in the 16 to 24 year age group who have attended school or are currently living in the Murrumbidgee Council area.
Online applications will close on October 3.
Students who are at university, or undertaking a VET course, cadetship or traineeship are eligible to apply.

Jerilderie people have been saddened by the deaths in the last couple of weeks of Lynne James, Anthony Crockett and Mijo Pastuovic.
Sympathy is extended to Lynne’s daughter and son, Nicky and Raymond, their families and Lynne’s extended family, on the death of their much loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Sympathy also to Tony’s sons, David and Andrew Crockett and their families, following Tony’s death. Tony’s wife Ann pre-deceased him.
Sympathy is also extended to Mijo’s wife and their families.
Lynne’s funeral is to be held graveside this Friday at 11am at the Jerilderie cemetery.
Mijo was laid to rest on August 1 after a service at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Jerilderie.
Details of Tony’s funeral arrangements are yet to be finalised.
