They both recited the promise and were presented with badges and insignia for Rochester Joey Scouts.

After the investiture, we spent the remainder of the evening learning about flood preparation, how to use hand tools, tie knots and operate SES radios.

The evening finished with a tour of the SES facility and its equipment.

The group got insights into the unit’s equipment, including their rescue boat.

Rochester SES deputy controller Judith Gledhill and her members provided an extremely informative and interactive night for all participants.

The SES showbags given at the end of the evening were well received by all.

Everyone had a wonderful time.
