Semi-trailer and ute collide in Stanhope crash

Emergency services responded to a crash between a car and a semi-trailer on the Midland Hwy on Monday, March 31.

Two drivers walked away unscathed from the crash at Stanhope.

Kyabram police Acting Sergeant David Barker said a Ford ute and a Kenworth semi-trailer collided at the Girgarre-Rushworth Rd and Midland Hwy intersection at about 6.15am.

Act Sgt Barker said the ute was travelling north on Girgarre-Rushworth Rd and the truck east on the Midland Hwy when the crash occurred.

The 44-year-old Berwick man driving the ute and the 51-year old Benalla man driving the truck did not suffer any injuries, Sgt Barker said.

CFA, Ambulance Victoria and SES also attended the scene.

Sgt Barker said there was an ongoing investigation into the collision.
