Strathbogie Shire Council is celebrating the 2023 Victorian Seniors Festival with a range of activities.

GV Orchestra performance

Enjoy a delightful performance by the Goulburn Valley Concert Orchestra — a unique classical community orchestra with members from all walks of life. Celebrate the joy of music with this talented group of musicians.

When: October 7, 11am.

Where: Euroa Community Cinema, 1B Bury St, Euroa

Explorers Way tour

Join the tour either at Nagambie or Violet Town to discover Explorers Way. Experience the Major Mitchell Bicentennial Trail and traverse the paths once trodden by Hume and Hovell. Throughout the tour, you’ll have the privilege of meeting local historic group members, who will be on hand at various stops to share their insights into the area’s rich significance.

When: October 17, 10am to 3.30pm.

Location: buses depart from Black Caviar statue, Nagambie, and Southern Aurora Memorial Garden, Violet Town and return to starting locations.

Movie time

Enjoy a free screening of the heartwarming movie The Intern, hosted by Avenel Active Inc. Enjoy morning tea with friends.
