Police are investigating a series of burglaries in Cobram and Numurkah on May 4 and 5 they believe could be linked.

Investigators have been told people attended a business on Cobram-Koonoomoo Rd at Cobram between 10.30pm on Saturday, May 4, and 8am on Sunday, May 5.

Police believe the cash was stolen and CCTV security cabling cut after the people gained entry to the premises.

Police said a white Toyota Camry was allegedly seen casing another business on Station St, Cobram, on Sunday about 2.20am.

Police said a man jemmied open a door and stole a stepladder at that business.

Investigators believe entry was also gained to a sporting club on Tunnock Rd, Numurkah, about 5am the same morning.

Once inside they stole cash and knocked down a camera, police said.

Police believe the three incidents are linked.

Anyone who witnessed the incidents, has dashcam footage or CCTV, or has information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
