Police are investigating an alleged robbery in Shepparton at the beginning of October.

Police allege a man threatened a Benalla Rd service station attendant at about 1.10am on October 3.

Police described the man as being of Pacific Islander or Asian appearance, with a goatee (chin hair), medium build, aged between 25 to 30 and about 183cm tall.

They said the man wore grey track pants, black slides with white socks, and a blue puffer jacket.

He was driving a dark-coloured Toyota Kluger, police said.

Police have released an image of a man who might be able to assist with inquiries.
