The Seymour Show will return this month better than ever after a two-year hiatus.
The show will be held on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1, and will be jam-packed with activities and events.
There will be a spectacular Friday line-up from 4pm to 9pm, with bands, sideshows, all pavilions open and a fireworks display in the main arena.
Saturday will run from 9am to 4pm, with animal competitions including horses, beef cattle, dairy cattle, alpacas, poultry, goats, championship dogs and yard dog trials.
There will be the dog high jump, family dog fun ring, tiny tots and rural and junior ambassador awards and the Great Seymour Paper Plane Competition.
In the exhibition building will be competitions for baking, including junior competitions, as well as produce, plants and flowers, preserves, needlework and craft.
The wool competition will feature superfine Merino, medium, strong and cross-bred fleece classes. Farm produce and pasture will also be judged.
There are classes for open and junior art and photography.

Seymour Agricultural and Pastoral Society president Jason Ronald encouraged everybody to get involved in this year’s show.
“A great deal of work has been done by the Seymour ag society to ensure that the community had plenty to see and to get involved with at the Seymour Show,” he said.
Everybody is welcome and there will be free entry for all kids.
Kilmore residents are particularly welcomed, as the Kilmore Show will not go ahead this year.
