We all remember our childhood dream job. Actor, astronaut, police officer or even just being famous.

But what do the current primary school students of Shepparton want to be?

Last month, The News had a chat with four students to hear about their aspirations. Here’s what they had to say.

I want to be a paramedic when I grow up so I can save people’s lives. My dad does it and it seems really fun — I think that’s what my heart is.

I want to be a professional soccer player. The reason I want to be a professional soccer player is for my dad because he used to be a soccer coach. If I worked really hard in my dream playing soccer, I would become a professional soccer player and yeah, accomplish my dreams.

I want to be working with horses, I just want to help out ones who need help because some don’t get the best help. I ride horses and I have my own; they’re just this big amazing creature and they’re just amazing.

I want to be a professional basketball player. Right now, I play for Shepparton Celtics. I want to do it so I can impress my dad. He’s playing next season for Shepp Gators for A-grade. I watch NBA all the time, and the Chicago Bulls are my favourite team.
