Happier than a dog with two tails is a man from Shepparton who won two TattsLotto prizes in one draw.

Remarkably, the winning man had two of the 10 division one-winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4507 on Saturday, September 28, pocketing over $1 million instead of the single division one prize of over $518,000.

What was the secret behind this dual boon?

“I have this marked ticket on repeat,” he told The Lott officials.

“I’ve been playing all my life ... always two of the same tickets.

“But once I had my son, he was always at the top of my mind.

“He’s been going through some challenging times, and I’ve always wanted to help him ... (especially since) he’s now got a family of his own.”

Putting the fortune in family fortunes, the Shepparton man said he would split the winnings between himself and his beloved son.

But this father-son duo weren’t the only ones touched by Lady Luck’s generous hand.

The Shepparton man bought both of the winning marked 12-game entries at Fairleys Lotto on Numurkah Rd, Shepparton, much to the astonishment of its employees.

The team members at Fairleys Lotto said they wished their regular customer all the best with their prize.
