This week it was announced that Shepparton would be getting its own Monopoly board and the company responsible for it, Hasbro’s Winning Moves, is looking for feedback from community members on what they think should be featured on it.

The News asked its followers on Facebook what areas of Shepparton they thought should be included.

Some of the top answers included KidsTown, SPC and the Museum of Vehicle Evolution, with Centrelink showing itself as a surprising contender in the top six suggestions.

However, the top suggested location was the Shepparton Telstra Tower that hovers over Maude St Mall.

Suggestions for tokens, chance cards and street names were also made by News followers.

Here’s what some of them had to say.

Justyn Murley:

You parked for two hours and five minutes in the two-hour Rebel car park. Pay $91.

You lost the money you borrowed off your mate at the Vic pokies on a Saturday night out on the town because you drank a bit too much and were overconfident. Pay $100.

You won the Thursday night jackpot at the RSL. Collect $500.

Your rates notice has arrived, and you’ve not budgeted enough because it’s gone up again. Pay $300.
