A Shepparton school will be receiving a funding boost to help expand its facilities.

The Victorian Government has announced funding for independent schools to upgrade classrooms and build new facilities, with 13 schools across Victoria sharing in over $40 million from the second round of funding through the Building Fund for Non-Government Schools.

All Saints Anglican School in Shepparton is set to receive $3.6 million to build four extra classrooms, storage, a verandah and a covered walkway for students. It will also add a senior school building as student numbers expand, and a multi-sport outdoor court.

In announcing the grants, Education Minister Ben Carroll opened round three of the Building Fund for Non-Government Schools, with applications closing in February 2025.

“This new round of funding will help kick off vital projects that will improve schools and create new learning opportunities for students across the state,” Mr Carroll said.

“Thousands of Victorian kids go to an independent school each day, and we’re making sure they have the best facilities to learn in.”
