Shepparton South BP will reopen on Friday, December 9, following extensive flooding at the site in October.

A BP spokesperson confirmed earlier this month the site had been significantly damaged during the flood crisis, and had been closed to the public since then.

“BP acknowledges the impact the recent floods have had on the community,” a spokesperson said.

“The floods and ongoing weather conditions have caused significant damage at BP Shepparton South.

“BP is working to get the site up and running again as soon as possible.”

The service station, on the Goulburn Valley Hwy, experienced significant flooding from the Broken River, which flooded large parts of the service road and its businesses during the October floods.

The site has been closed for more than six weeks.
