Get ready for some bargain-hunting this weekend as St Alban's Anglican Church is set to host its annual Monster Garage Sale.

The event will be this Saturday from 8am to 3pm at 15-17 Young St, Mooroopna, and it promises to offer an extensive range of items for sale.

However, the best part of the garage sale is that all proceeds go towards charity, benefiting local organisations such as the Salvation Army, the Greater Shepparton Winter Night Shelter, Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project and several nationwide charities.

Last year, the event raised more than $7000 and hoped to exceed that amount this year.

St Alban's Anglican Church's priest-in-charge, Fr Simon Robinson, was excited about the upcoming sale and encouraged everyone to attend.

"There's some great bargains here," he said.

"You'll be able to find something for everyone."

There will also be refreshments available for purchase, including a barbecue.

"Have a snag and have a yarn," Fr Robinson said.
