Painting at the Rochester GrainCorp silos has started again.

The project was started on Monday, September 9, and will take about six weeks.

Artist Jimmy Dvate has returned to continue his murals on the silos, which currently include the azure kingfisher, squirrel glider and platypus.

The next design is yet to be revealed, but time will tell as the piece comes to life.

Funded by Rochester Business Network, Mr Dvate will be at the Ramsay St site until Monday, September 30, before returning from Tuesday, October 15, to Tuesday, October, 29.

“Dvate will be back in Rochester at the site ready to welcome art lovers, silo art fans and all the community to visit Rochester,” RBN’s Kate Taylor said.

Campaspe News will share weekly progress photos until the piece is completed.
