Sirius College Shepparton didn’t hold back with its Eid celebration on Friday, May 20.

The school hosted its second Eid festival, complete with an obstacle course, jumping castle, mechanical bull, face painting and more.

Principal Muhammed Aksu said the event brought together the whole school and the wider community, with around 250 people attending.

“About 20 students may have fasted, some of them partially,” he said.

“At this age it’s about making them feel it’s a special time and a part of it, we’re helping them to understand the importance of Ramadan and thanks giving.

“The teachers, parents and friends association worked tirelessly to make it a great day.”
