The sounds of laughter and song filled Shepparton Library on Wednesday morning, March 12, as parents and their little ones played during baby rhyme time.

The free weekly session introduces young children to the magic of language through nursery rhymes, songs and interactive play.

Each Wednesday local families gather at Shepparton Library from 10.30am to 11am, as it provides an excellent opportunity to connect with one another, expanding their support network and sharing experiences.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit attended and captured the little ones engaging during the sing-along.

With clapping hands, bouncing knees and joyful giggles, babies eagerly joined in as librarian Emma Kennedy led the group through familiar tunes and playful storytelling.

The sessions help develop early literacy skills, foster social connections and provide a fun bonding experience for families.
