Sophie Locke attends ‘Pink Bun’ launch as Breast Cancer Network ambassador

Having a ball: Sophie Locke at Sherrin HQ for the Breast Care Network Australia ‘Pink Bun’ campaign.

AFLW player and Seymour local Sophie Locke has stepped into her role as Breast Cancer Network Australia ambassador without missing a beat.

She joined a Pink Morning Tea at Sherrin HQ in the Melbourne suburb of Vermont South to launch the ‘Pink Bun’ campaign on Thursday, May 11.

Straight off the plane from an overseas holiday, Ms Locke chatted to staff about her new role and the affect breast cancer had on her family.

Pink Bun is a three-week campaign run by Breast Cancer Network Australia in partnership with Bakers Delight.

BCNA is Australia’s leading breast cancer consumer organisation, supporting women who are diagnosed with breast cancer and influencing change to ensure a stronger healthcare system for those with breast cancer.

All proceeds from Fun Bun sales at Bakers Delight are donated to BCNA.

Although Seymour Bakers Delight is closed due to flood damage, the buns can be purchased at any Bakers Delight store until May 31.
