Echuca Moama Community Projects and The RIV have joined forces to spread Christmas cheer to those spending the holiday alone.

Our community goal is to create 100 festive hampers for guests attending the Echuca Moama Uniting Church's Christmas Day lunch.

Echuca Moama Community Projects and The RIV extend heartfelt thanks to all who've generously donated jams, Christmas puddings, and tinned fruits over the past week.

There is still time for you to help, as The RIV office accepts donations during office hours.

Here is how it works:

STEP 1: Each week, purchase this week’s items from an Echuca Moama business

For the week beginning Monday, December 9, 2024, we're seeking donations of chocolates and shortbreads.

It is not too late to help with last week’s items: a jar of jam, a Christmas pudding and a tin of fruit or week one’s of a green bag, decorative or cooler and Christmas bonbons.

STEP 2: During weekday office hours, drop the item into the box at the Riverine Herald office at 28 Percy St, Echuca.

STEP 3: Your item will be added to a hamper.

Join our community effort to bring Christmas joy to those in need - every donation makes a difference this festive season.
