St Joseph’s Primary school preps enjoyed a day of fun, games and activities on Thursday, August 3 to mark 100 days of school.

Youngsters and their teachers dressed up as 100 year olds to celebrate.

Foundation Unit Learning Leader Erin Boulton said the first hour of the day was spent with parents, who helped celebrate the occasion.

“They’ve had a nice morning of activities,” Ms Boulton said.

“They’ve created a 100 days of school poem, which we put up and they helped to decorate.

“They also had a certificate presentation with our Deputy Principal Sam Kerlin.

“We gave our parents a big clap and thanked them because they’ve spent a lot of time and effort getting the kids dressed up so they can have such a fun day.”

Ms Boulton said there’s been a lot of progress, development and success in their first 100 days of school.

“But there’s many more days of learning ahead,” she said.

“So it’s really important, and fun, to mark a milestone like this.”
