St Mary’s College marks Remembrance Day

St Mary’s College attended the Remembrance Day service held by the Seymour RSL at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital Gardens.

The community came together on November 11 to honour and remember those who had fallen.

A moving service was held, as attendees paused to reflect on the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women.

• Director of faith and mission Rochelle Gough guided students in delivering a moving Remembrance Day liturgy including prayers, readings and moments of reflection.

College staff said they were proud of the wonderful job done by all of the students.

The liturgy served as a heartfelt tribute to the sacrifices made for Australians’ freedom and to honour those who gave their lives in service to their country.
