The Strathmerton Mailbox Cafe is turning one and staff are ready to celebrate the milestone achievement.

The one-year anniversary falls on Tuesday, April 11 and co-manager Kaye Atkins said the staff were planning to celebrate with cupcakes, coffee and balloons for kids.

The Mailbox Cafe has been going from strength to strength, and along with providing coffee and cakes, the business offers bread, pies and sausage rolls.

Ms Atkins said the community had supported the business and thanked residents for making the business possible.

“Thank you to everybody for supporting us throughout the year,” Ms Atkins said.

Along with selling products in store, the Mailbox Cafe has spread its wings and undertakes event catering.

Ms Atkins said the cafe could cater to any type of event and accommodate both large and small groups.

“We’re open for whatever people need,” she said.
