Students wow the crowds in The Frog Prince

Tobias Flury and Lila Haynes in The Frog Prince.

Students from Tocumwal’s Sacred Heart presented their school production ‘The Frog Prince’ in the school hall Wednesday last week.

There were two showings of the fantastic play.

The play was attended and thoroughly enjoyed by Tocumwal Preschool and the Lions Community Hostel in the morning, and parents, friends, and family in the evening.

Congratulations to everyone involved on a fantastic performance.

Dutch Thunder Wildlife Shelter wish to remind our community that more wildlife is coming out of the floodwaters and taking refuge on the higher ground beside our roads.

They urge drivers to please take care, slow down and report injured, deceased or flood affected wildlife.

Wildlife volunteers have just been out on the Tocumwal Bends checking on the welfare of kangaroos, wallabies, koala and even an echidna.

The team at Dutch Thunder can be contacted on 0417 560 910. This is a great number to keep handy and use as our local 24-hour emergency animal rescue.
