Organisers of this year’s annual swap meet and show ‘n’ shine at Lockington have hailed the day an overwhelming success.

The event, organised by the Lockington Lions Club, on Sunday, May 19, attracted 100 stallholders and 30 cars plus three motorcycles for the many spectators to enjoy.

The sightseers had the chance to wander through Lockington Park, grab some bargains and view the beautiful machinery on show.

Organisers thanked those who attended as well as the many sponsors who supported the event and all Lions Club members.

All funds raised from this event will be distributed around the community throughout the year.

Next year’s event will be held on Sunday, May 18.
