Mitchell Community Energy is inviting locals to attend a free event to experience the power of wind up close.
The bus tour of the Cherry Tree wind farm will take place on Sunday, April 6.
MCE invites prospective attendees to join for a journey into the heart of sustainable energy production.
The tour has been created to educate and inspire, providing an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the technology shaping our future.
Those coming along for the ride will learn about the vital role renewable energy plays in our community and the broader environment, and will be particularly beneficial for families with older high-school students who may be considering career or study paths in the burgeoning renewable energy sector.
“We believe that understanding renewable energy is crucial for our community’s future,” MCE chair John Thompson said.
“This tour is a fantastic opportunity to see firsthand how clean energy is generated and to learn about the exciting career possibilities within this rapidly growing industry.”
The tour will depart from Seymour Library at 9.30am, and will return at about 12.30pm.
The bus is limited to 50 seats, so get in quick to reserve your place.
