If you’re looking for a fun family day out this weekend that won’t break the bank, Greater Shepparton City Council has you covered.
Tomorrow morning, jump on the Out and About bus and explore some of Greater Shepparton’s most iconic activities.
Organised by council through its destination brand Shepparton and Goulburn Valley, the Out and About bus is taking residents on a trip around Shepparton on Saturday, September 23, for free.
The bus loop will run from 10am to 5pm, starting at the Shepparton train station and stopping at several venues throughout the day.
Stops include Shepparton Art Museum for a spring camp for children and giant games at KidsTown’s Sprout edible garden.
The day is affordable for all, with special deals on offer at each location.
At Emerald Bank, mini golf will be available at a discounted price of $13 an adult and $11 for kids, and Museum of Vehicle Evolution is offering 20 per cent off adult entry and family admissions, which includes two adults and up to four dependents.
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali said the council is excited to get residents out and about in the region.
“We invite community members to get on board the Out and About bus and enjoy some of the wonderful activities in Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley,” he said.
“This is the perfect opportunity to have a day out with family and friends.”
