Two Tatura businesses were broken into in the early hours of Monday, December 2.
Police said Tatura Family Butchers and Rice Corner by Gibb restaurant were broken into between 2.30am and 6.05am.
Thieves forced their way into the two Hogan St businesses, but nothing was stolen from either of them.
The butcher had to close on Monday morning after the break-in, while the restaurant was closed for two days.
