The annual 100 Lap Challenge is back at the Tatura Swimming Complex, inviting individuals and teams to make a splash for a good cause.

Scheduled for Saturday, February 24, from 8am to 11.30am, proceeds from the 100 Lap Challenge will go directly to the Tatura Hospital and Nursing Home.

Over the years, the event has raised $84,310, supporting vital healthcare services and initiatives within the local community.

Originating from a friendly bet in a local pub, the event has grown into an annual tradition, bringing together swimmers from Tatura and neighbouring communities for a morning of swimming and fundraising.

The event is open to everyone, regardless of age or skill level.

Families or groups are encouraged to swim together or show their support from the sidelines.

There is no entry fee for the event; however, each participant or team is expected to raise a minimum of $100 sponsorship.

Morning tea will be provided for participants and supporters at 9am.
