Tatura’s main street is lighting up every night with new bud lighting on the trees lining Hogan St.

Greater Shepparton City Council’s Bud Lighting Project, funded by the Victorian Government’s Outdoor Dining and Entertainment Package, has seen a number of trees in central business districts lit up, including in Mooroopna and Murchison.

Council director of infrastructure Gary Randhawa said the Bud Lighting Project had been well received.

“This project has supported a large range of businesses and has allowed the community to enjoy more of our outdoor spaces at night, particularly now in the winter months,” he said.

“Council would like to thank the state government for making the Bud Lighting Project possible.

“We hope residents and visitors enjoy this new visual improvement and take the time to visit our other small towns to see the lights in action.”
