A discount store is set to open imminently in Kyabram and the store’s manager hopes the shop can change the way community members spend their money.

After 11 months of vacancy, the space left by K-Hub on Union and Allan Sts is soon to be filled, with The Reject Shop set to open its doors on Thursday, December 5.

Kyabram regional manager Josh Dobbie said the team was looking forward to helping locals “lower their weekly shopping bill”.

“By making us their first stop before heading to other grocery stores, customers can expect significant savings across household essentials and seasonal products, especially in the lead-up to Christmas,” he said.

The store will open at 8.30am with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
