Gyms are no longer just places to work out.

They’re also the prime location for what can only be described as the Ironman of garage sales.

At Shepparton’s F45 Training Shop, Soroptimist International of Shepparton will host its Giant Charity Garage Sale and Pop-Up Shop over nine days, from October 17 to 19 and October 21 to 26.

For those more interested in bargains than barbells, you’re in luck.

Shoppers can expect to find everything from kitchenware, camping gear and electrical appliances to furniture, plants, books, kids’ toys and clothing for all ages.

More than just a shopping experience, the event serves a greater purpose, as all proceeds from the sale will be used to support local charities, making every purchase a contribution to the community.

So forget about personal bests or gold medals, the real win is snagging a good deal for a good cause.

Soroptimist International of Shepparton’s Giant Charity Garage Sale and Pop-Up Shop is on October 17 to 19 and October 21 to 26 at the F45 Training Shop, 204-208 High St, Shepparton.

The sale will be open from 9am to 4pm on weekdays, and from 8.30am to 4pm on Saturdays.

Both cash and card payments are accepted.
