Police are seeking witnesses after a theft at a Kyabram supermarket.

A Kyabram supermarket was broken into in the early hours of Monday, December 2.

Kyabram police Constable Mitch Lucas said it was believed at least two people broke into Ritchies IGA on Albion St.

He said CCTV captured people forcibly breaking into the supermarket at 3.35am before stealing liquor from the store’s alcohol section.

According to Ritchies IGA duty manager Garry Gellion, another manager showed up to their shift at 4am when they found the front sliding doors had been prised open.

“It is just a nuisance more than anything,” Mr Gellion said.
