Thieves force door during CBD break-in

Shepparton police are investigating the break-in of a retail business in the city’s central business district.

Cheap as Chips was broken into early on the morning of Friday, January 26.

Shepparton Criminal Investigation Unit Detective Acting Sergeant Mick Guppy said the offenders gained entry to the shop from Rowe St by forcing their way through a door.

Det Act Sgt Guppy said police would like to hear from anyone in the area between 5.30am and 8am on January 26, particularly if they had any dashcam or CCTV footage.
