Campaspe Criminal Investigation Unit has arrested three males from Rochester after a number of businesses and households in Rochester were broken into during the floods.
Police allege businesses and households were targeted in November, at a time when the flooding was still prevalent and many people were displaced.
Detective Sergeant Jason Smith said police executed a search warrant at an address on Tuesday, February 14, which led to the arrest of the males.
He said information from the public assisted the investigation.
“We’ve charged and bailed a 19-year-old male from Rochester, a 15-year-old male has been summonsed to appear at children’s court and a 21-year-old male from Rochester was charged and appeared before the court today [February 14],” Det Sgt Smith said.
The outcome of the 21-year-old’s court appearance was not known at the time of going to print.
