A 40 year-old man has been arrested on outstanding warrants at a Deniliquin home.

Investigations led police to the Henry St address about 3.15pm Wednesday.

The man was arrested and bail refused, to appear in Albury court yesterday. An outcome was not known at the time of going to print.

When police were at the home, it is alleged that two Deniliquin men - aged 67 and 38 - attempted to prevent the arrest.

The younger Deniliquin man was arrested and charged with assault police, and hinder police. He was also refused bail to appear at Albury yesterday.

The 67 year-old was charged with the same offences, but bailed to appear at the Deniliquin Local Court on the December 11.
