A tradie who was caught driving on a suspended licence has been fined $1200.
Adam John Osredkar, 29, of Shepparton, pleaded guilty in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court to driving while suspended and failing to appear on bail.
Prosecutor Leading Senior Constable Brent O’Grady told the court police found Osredkar driving on a suspended licence on the Maroondah Hwy at Coldstream.
His licence had been suspended because of drink driving.
His Toyota Landcruiser was impounded for 30 days.
Representing himself in court, the metal fabricator, who lived in Euroa at the time, said he had driven because he “felt I needed to get to work because I was a supervisor”.
However, he said it was a “stupid” idea.
