Construction of a new roundabout at a busy Shepparton intersection will begin on Wednesday, September 4.
The works - at Orrvale Rd and Poplar Ave - will see the intersection closed for about nine weeks, with any weather intervention likely to cause that time frame to be extended.
The community is encouraged to plan alternate travel routes during the construction time frame, while signed detours will be in place to direct motorists.
Nearby Channel Rd is expected to be much busier than usual during the works.
