A woman has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after a crash between a light truck and a car at Congupna on Wednesday, April 3.
Police said the light rigid truck was travelling north on the Goulburn Valley Hwy and was turning right into Grahamvale Rd, when the sun got in the driver’s eyes.
The truck and a car travelling south on Goulburn Valley Hwy collided shortly after 8am.
The 24-year-old Tallygaroopna woman driving the BMW car was taken to GV Health by ambulance in a stable condition with upper body injuries.
The 25-year-old Sunbury man driving the truck was uninjured.
The southbound lane of the Goulburn Valley Hwy was closed for about 40 minutes.
