Premiering on New Year’s Day was the gripping new six-part series Black Snow — starring Lockington talent Travis Fimmel in the lead role.

With a narrative based in both 1994 and 2019, the plot follows the journey of detective James Cormack who attempts to solve a cold case after a 17-year-old girl is murdered.

The twist-filled murder mystery is set in a small North Queensland town and has deep ties to the Australian South Sea Islander community.

Fimmel leads a cast that features newcomers Talijah Blackman-Corowa, Jemmason Power, Molly Fatnowna and Eden Cassady, alongside Brooke Satchwell, Alexander England, Erik Thomson, Kym Gyngell, Rob Carlton, Jimi Bani, Daniela Farinaci and Lucy Bell.

Australian music sensation Ziggy Ramo also makes his screen debut.

Black Snow is available now to be watched on streaming service Stan.
