Trawool Estate’s new herb garden is blooming just in time for the opening of the iconic property’s new outdoor restaurant.

Herb Garden is opening on Friday, September 13, offering wood-fired oven pizzas and drinks.

Trawool Estate executive chef Sam Wills will be in charge of Herb Garden’s menu.

“We’re all very excited about the opening of the pizzeria,” he said.

“It’s going to be nice to see people down here enjoying the fun and enjoying some pizza.”

Locals and visitors are invited to take in the Trawool Valley views and enjoy bottomless pizza and drinks as part of Herb Garden’s Bottomless Series on Sunday, October 3.

Continuing into summer, Trawool Estate will hold the second Bottomless Lunch for the Bottomless Series on Saturday, November 16 at the Wild Water Restaurant.

Trawool Estate general manager Todd Roberts said spring and summer were the perfect times to sit outside in the sun for a nice meal.

“This season, this will typically open September to April just because it takes advantage of the weather,” he said.

“We’ve been busy stripping the tables or repainting new planter boxes.

“All those boxes have got herbs that chefs will use in either of the pizzas they are making.”

Mr Roberts expressed his excitement for the warmer weather to come.

“It’s a wood-fired pizza oven, so very casual ... grab a pizza, we do our own Trawool Beer,” he said.

“We also do our own cocktail on tap, as well.

“Just come and enjoy the vibe. We've got music playing, and then obviously, just take advantage of those stunning views!”
