Swallow St is blocked off between Waranga St and Archer St this evening after a tree branch fell on powerlines.
Emergency services, Shepparton Search and Rescue and Powercor were called to the incident before 5pm on Friday afternoon.
The section of road is expected to be blocked for a number of hours as work continues to extricate the significant branch from the powerlines.
Powercor’s outage map shows 137 customers without power at nearby Gilchrist St, Shepparton, with an expected restoration of supply by 9:30pm.
