The driver of a truck which rolled outside of Finley last week is lucky to have escaped without injury.
One lane of traffic on the Newell Highway was closed for about an hour, while emergency services responded to the incident.
The truck left the road about 10km south of Finley about 5.10am last Thursday.
It came to a rest on its side.
Responding to provide assistance were six members of Finley Fire + Rescue NSW, and NSW Rural Fire Service brigades from Finley and Tocumwal.
Finley Fire + Rescue Captain Lawrence Walsh said an ambulance also attended, but was not required.
The truck was towing two trailers which remained upright.
One lane of the busy highway was closed while efforts to upright the truck took place.
It was eventually removed from the scene about 6am.
Police are investigating the crash.
Power pole blaze
A power pole was struck by lightning on Larkins Rd, Finley, on Wednesday, resulting in a small grass fire.
Finley Rural Fire Service responded about 8.15pm, and had the fire extinguished within an hour.
Golf buggy catches alight
A golf buggy has been destroyed in a fire in Barooga on Wednesday.
The buggy was parked in the garage of a Barooga home, with firefighters from Tocumwal Fire + Rescue called to assist the Barooga RFS and Cobram Country Fire Authority.
Tocumwal attended with one truck and four firefighters, armed with breathing apparatus.
Emergency Services were called about midnight, and the blaze was out within five minutes. It resulted in minimal damage to the garage itself.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by police.
