Minor flooding has eased in the Goulburn River at Shepparton.

Having dropped below the minor flood level of 9.5m at 7.30am on Tuesday, the height of the Goulburn River was expected to continue to slowly decrease.

Releases from Lake Eildon remain consistent at around 17,000Ml per day, according to Goulburn-Murray Water, and were expected to stay at that level until at least Wednesday, October 11.

Flooding eased in the Broken River and Seven Creeks earlier in the week.

At the time of writing, Watt Rd, between Mooroopna and Kialla; Bridge Rd in Toolamba, between Wren St and Newham Rd; Trevaskis Rd in Kialla, between Union Rd and McKernan Rd; and Raftery Rd in Kialla, between Edgewater Rd and Seven Creeks Dve, remained closed due to flooding.
