Benalla’s Tyler Brodie has, once again, gone above and beyond with his annual T-Bro fundraiser for mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

Every Movember Mr Brodie grows a moustache and sets out to raise as much money as he can.

While the fundraiser started out as a sausage sizzle, he now sells raffle tickets and merchandise.

He contacted The Ensign this week to let us know how much he raised.

"Just letting you know that this year we have beaten last year’s record of $2500 and the new record raised this year is $2650,“ he said.

“This brings the total raised all up to $10,650 in seven years which is an absolutely amazing achievement.”

Mr Brodie thanked the community, and everyone who had supported the fundraiser since its inception.
