Ute stolen from Deni business

Deniliquin Neighborhood Watch instigator Diego Sztejman and Chief Inspector Michael Fuller.

Police are seeking information after a white Toyota Hilux was stolen from a commercial premises on Saleyards Rd, Deniliquin.

The business yard was broken into between 6.30pm Wednesday and 6.30am yesterday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Deniliquin Police on 5881 9299 or CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.

Reports to CrimeStoppers can remain anonymous.

Gym damage

Between 5.30pm and 7pm on Sunday, a piece of fitness equipment was damaged at a business is End St, Deniliquin.

Following inquiries, a young person was spoken to by police and will now be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.

Volunteer for Neighbourhood Watch

The volunteer run Deniliquin Neighbourhood Watch is constantly recruiting for members.

Informal patrols have already been started by group volunteers.

Shifts will be arranged at random as the group comes together.
