The Shepparton community received sorrowful news over the weekend with the announcement of Brian Birrell’s passing.
Brian, whose career in law made a significant impact on many, was remembered by his family as someone who lived life to the fullest.
In a heartfelt tribute on Facebook, Brian’s son, Sam Birrell, announced early on Saturday, June 1, that his father had passed away.
He described him as “definitely an iconic character” and said “he will be sadly missed”.
Brian is survived by his children, Sam, Emily, Sarah, and Hannah.
