Loved and respected former Seymour resident Ted Gray passed away in Queensland on Tuesday, August 29.
He made many valuable contributions to the community. He contributed to the town’s sports scene, journalism, and community radio.
A former president of Seymour FM 103.9, he was an integral part of the radio broadcasting of Seymour Blasters basketball games.
He was also a journalist, submitting articles to the Advertiser and the Telegraph.
He was also involved in some veterans’ affairs.
In recent years, Mr Gray had returned to his birthplace of Queensland, where he offered his time to the coastguard.
The Brisbane Lions supporter will be remembered as a kind man, offering his time and hospitality to many in the community.
