Volunteers Shine at local event

The weekend’s Berrigan Show and Shine was a success.

Considering it was a very hot day, the crowd attendance was great.

A big thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their time to be at the front gate directing traffic, and the many organisations who helped on stalls.

The Berrigan Shire Day Awards Ceremony will be held in Berrigan at Apex Park.

Berrigan is well represented with the awards nominations.

The CWA will once again host the Australia Day breakfast at the CWA Hall at 7.30am, with the flag raising prior to breakfast being served.

Have yo got your tickets for the Dylan Forge performance yet?

The vocalist with local connections will perform crooning classics and Broadway's greatest hits this Sunday at the Memorial Hall.

He will be supported by folk band Inveran.

The show will be a matinee at 2pm and a light afternoon tea will be provided and raffles held.

Dylan is the son of Brett and Nicole Forge and grandson of Brian and Gwen Chisholm.
