The application window for a program to guarantee Year 11 and 12 students a place at Victoria University has been extended to help those impacted by floods, including in and around Shepparton.
The program aims to make the final years of school less stressful by guaranteeing students a place at Victoria University or VU Polytechnic.
Students are still required to preference their desired course on the VTAC preference list, or apply directly to VU Polytechnic where required.
They also must still satisfy the admission requirements for the courses they preference or apply for directly.
If they don’t meet the requirements, VU provides an alternative course recommendation.
The window for applications was extended for two weeks due to the floods and the deadline is now 5pm on Friday, November 4.
