The operator of Shepparton Private Hospital says no patients or procedures have been impacted by the recent closure of a ward.
Ramsay Health Care, which operates the hospital, said a ward was temporarily closed due to “reduced occupancy”, without impacting on services.
“It is common practice to temporarily close one ward when there is reduced occupancy, this makes it easier for our staff to focus on caring for patients in one ward, rather than two,” a spokesperson said.
“This has no impact on patients or scheduled procedures.”
